7 ACTS OF KINDNESS
ABOUT
On April 7th of 2015, 7 people with ties to Illinois State University passed away in a plane crash on their way back from the NCAA's Men's Basketball championship in Indianapolis. One of the men was member of Sigma Chi at Illinois State, Scott Bittner. Scott was apart of the Rho pledge class and was known as a smart and generous person who cared deeply about his family and our fraternity.
VISION
Over the years, the community has been performing acts of kindness on April 7th annually in honor of the group, this group has become known as the Redbird 7. This year, and for every year in the future, we plan on participating in these acts of kindness on our own fraternal accord in honor of them and our brother Scott.
